This idea has received a small, but positive response to the idea of adding an option for users to cancel their vote although the specifics were never discussed fully in the idea topic.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to implement this? I did a quick inspection of the poll UI and the whole section is contained within a form element which means adding another submit button within that section of the UI won't be easy, or clean as such.
I came up with this design change which adds a textual based button / link above the poll options. Perhaps this text could be shown or hidden depending on current voting status?
Does anyone have any ideas on how they would expect this to look?
[PHPBB3-17275] Cancel your vote on a poll
Re: [PHPBB3-17275] Cancel your vote on a poll
Like the mock up. Would be nice to have a "can change vote after poll close" that was off by default.
