[RFC] Combine Related functionality (UI Cleanup)

the UI is drastically cluttered and getting ever so more cluttered. In an effort to prevent this from happening I propose that we restyle the search field to match that of the rest of the theme. Then relocate the inde page search field to the action bar as it is on the other pages. Then add a dropdown menu next to it containing links to the advanced search, view your posts, view unanswered, etc..

I did a quick mock up of the html integrated with a more consistent UI. Again i'm using font-awsome for the icons for simplicity in mock-ups but that can easily be swapped out.

This would remove the clutter in the main navigation and simplify the location of the search fields. Not to mention bring together the UI more consistently.

I think the idea is to eventually move to a single search form.

I am not against that but I am not sure if it fits in the UI as it is now.

Not only does it clean-up the UI a bit but it also places links where users would expect them to be. It always bugged me that I had to go back to the Index in order to quickly find "View New Posts".

It's more modernized, and puts things in the correct place. Good job

It's a search because it queries (searches for) all of the articles that one hasn't read
