[RFC] Show avatars in (post) search results

Avatars are an important way of recognizing users quickly.

I suggest showing the avatars in the search results, when viewing results in post-mode. This will make it resemble the regular viewtopic_body template more, and will look good. Win win.

p.s. Might as well include ranks too, while we're at it.

Well, there's a big difference between viewtopic and search results roles.

Include avatar (ranks and author information) doesnt bring any improvement to search result.

I wouldn't want avatars anywhere other than viewtopic and profiles but as long as I can turn them off then I don't care as much...

Avatars in search results aren't useful.
If you are looking for posts from someone, all results will have the very same avatar.
If you are looking for some information, it doesn't really matter who wrote it (almost always).

Hey hey Check this out: Avatar on Memberlist. It's also about showing avatars somewhere (in the memberlist instead of search results).

Actually... that is included in the core. Avatars on memberlist doesn't require a mod/extension, just a modified template.
