What do you think about removing ".Mods" tab and its children during migration completly and add a new tab? As @DavidIQ wrote, most of the current mods wouldn't work with phpBB 3.1.

We already decided to not remove anything from AutoMOD, I guess the same will apply to modifications.

Ok, but what is the reason behind keeping MODs from AutoMod in 3.1 if it is the case, as DavidIQ said, that most won't work anymore after the upgrade?

It's the task of the modification/extension to remove/update them while updating the mod to an extension.
This way the order of the modules and movements the admins made are kept.
