5 star Rating system that rate topics not people

You use it in your forums. Can you make it publick ?
Option people to make forums to be show by rating not date.
Option to make forum wich evry new topic to have rating option ( forum that have topics for music albums, movies, party and etc. )

i don't know english very well so if you think that is good idea i can make images with photoshop with my vision about this feature

I think there is already an RFC for rating systems so this one might get merged with the other but, otherwise, I think stars is too complicated for most forums and something simple like thumbs up/down is easier for everyone. That also gives the admins the ability to choose if they only want one or the other...or both/none.

That also gives the admins the ability to choose if they only want one or the other...or both/none.

They are allot mods and plugins with Thumbs up/down and noone with stars. People ( Including me ) search and want stars type rang not with thumbs. As i say in previus post, this thumbs are for users to rate them not for whole topick

As I learned, they tend to group RFCs here so stars or thumbs are both still ratings systems. I'm still -1 on the stars though...

I once outlined a system that allowed defining various types of rankings/ratings. It's flexible enough to support Thanks/+1/Like, Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down, -x to +x rating, 0-x rating and 1-x rating.
