UI Consistency (Forms should look like buttons do!!!!)

Post by hanakin »

With all the changes going into the theme to improve it for use on different devices we should also change some aesthetics to more consistent and professional looking.

we replaced all the forum buttons with css versions so why not update all the form/controls to take on a similar look and feel.

Also look at tweaking the css for the buttons to be a single button class that can be applied to both the forum buttons as well as the form controls.

That makes sense. bg_button.gif could be easily replaced with CSS

well more than just redoing the background thats already their on buttons. the buttons and the forms should share similar properties with the topic buttons as well.

IE: round corners same color for the border, same bg/font-color for buttons.

although this might take up slightly more space and would have to be looked at carefully for all the forms.

This should not only help to improve and modernize the theme but also simplify the amount of code that we are using in the css by utilizing similar code
