[RFC] No Avatar Images in Notification Window

Since phpBB ships with a no_avatar.gif, would it be worth using it in the Notifications drop down window for users who have no avatars? This could make the window look a little better.

I don't think I like how the entire section appears to be clickable including the avatar while hovering but I guess that's for another topic.

If you're changing some of the styling in the notifications box pertaining to the avatars there is this issue I saw on my iPad with bantu's avatar a week or two ago:

That's not just iPad... I also see it in Safari on the Mac (haven't tried other browsers)... I have a fix for it. We need to clear some floats.

As for no_avatar replacement... The included no_avatar image is pretty nothing...just a grey square with a barely visible X through it.

And no, this will not be applied to users who have no avatars anywhere in the forum (except in the Notifications window)... It would only be used to replace the current no_avatar.gif which is used, for example, in the Avatar settings pages as shown above.

Looks good to me. Is that image something you made or is it ilcensed for redistribution?
