[RFC] Skip post confirmation page

3.1.0-a3 still contains confirmation pages and they're still a showstopper for me.

As per one of the replies in that topic you linked to:

Because there is no option in phpBB. You are more than welcome to post an RFC for 3.2 over at Area 51 if you feel it should be an option (3.1 is already feature frozen).

You won't be seeing this in 3.1. The use of the hook provided by ToonArmy will be sufficient for most cases and takes mere seconds to install.

1. Why would we add a feature in a lower version and remove it right after? (this is obviously present in 3.2)
2. This topic is about the confirmation screen that comes up after posting not about every single confirmation screen.

Post confirmation was removed in 3.1. Anything else is beyond the scope of this topic, which is now locked.
