If our users want to use 5.5 we should at least know where we stand with regard to supporting it. Is anyone even running 5.5 at this time?
To start, I run 5.1.
Anyone running mysql 5.5?

Re: Anyone running mysql 5.5?
I have one setup using it, but it's just a testing environment, so the board doesn't really see any action.
Re: Anyone running mysql 5.5?
5.091 here. But I think phpBB should test all the basics for 5.5 though, since it's now a stable release. Over the coming year more and more hosts will probably update to 5.5 and end-users will encouter problems.

Re: Anyone running mysql 5.5?
I've got 5.5.x. Not the most recent one, though. Just upgraded from 5.1.x about 3-4 weeks ago.
Re: Anyone running mysql 5.5?
Any more adoptions among the devs or heavy users in the past 1.5 years?
Re: Anyone running mysql 5.5?
I run 5.5 now.
As 5.5 has had GA status for quite some time it should function correctly with phpbb. I expect there to be a nontrivial number of 5.5 installations used with phpbb. Keep in mind this topic is 1.5 years old.
Current issues with mysql seem to be recurring test suite breakage when strict mode is used (igorw runs such a configuration apparently).

Re: Anyone running mysql 5.5?
Based on discussions on other forums, some users have innoDB in 5.5 enabled only for session tables, other people enable it for everything but session tables, etc. In other words I don't think people know what they're doing. Are we going to start recommending certain settings or wait for wider adoption?
