The Topic Prefix is a "to have" in a Forum, today? is this included in the
next major release?
It´s in included in the vbulletin u. wbb3 normaly (standard)

Know your about already, I install myself otherwise the Mod, because otherwise I would have that again deinstall?

What you consider to be a "must have" feature, a lot of people might not. The best place to debate on whether a feature would be viable to add to the next major release, would be the phpBB Discussion forum on phpbb.com. It would be adviseable to have a look through some of the topics in that forum before posting, as this type of question has come up in the past [1] [2] [3]. As long as you can provide a strong argument for the feature and get community backing, you have a good chance of catching a Dev's attention. At the end of the day though, it's up to the Dev team whether or not they wish to implement said feature
