Hello there!
You all know CAPTCHA is a great weapon against spammers, but it's not a definitive one. The one I want to explain to you is not the definitive one too, but, together with CAPTCHA, will discourage spammers to do any action.
My idea is to create two options like:
- Allow new users to post links? Y/N
-- How many messages must a user publish before allowing him to post links?
Links include: signature, forum messages, website informations.
What do you think about?
Forbid to post links under N published messages
