Hyperlink to shared folder

I am relatively new to administering PHPBB.
Please forgive me if this has been answered before, but I could not find it.

I need to be able to create links to another share within my network to something like \\servername\shared_folder when posting.
How do I accomplish this?

Can you give an example of exactly what you want to do?
