Opening Signature Links in new Window
Hi guys, I've tried Google'ing for a way to open signature links in a new window, but unsuccessfully found any helpful information. I did find a fix for opening a new post link in a new window, since phpBB 3 does not allow this by default. However since the fix, if someone posts a link on their post, their signature link will open in a new link, but others will not. How can I permanently fix this issue to where a user's profile link will open in a new window? Thanks
Re: Opening Signature Links in new Window
Hi Chris, thanks for the quick reply; however the fix you provided was unsuccessful. It still only opens new posts in a new link, but if you were to post a link in your signature such as http://www.google.com it will open in the same window. Any other tries? I've tried purging the forum as provided for the last step.
Re: Opening Signature Links in new Window
Well, long story short, no, not if you want to remain 'strict'. There is javascript out there that will do it but you could always 'right click' instead?
Re: Opening Signature Links in new Window
Prime Links (mirrored on my site) will do as you wish
Re: Opening Signature Links in new Window
Not being strict, it's just a pain in the butt because if you're in a huge topic and you click someone's signature and hit the back button (since most people don't know it won't open in a new window) you have to scroll all the way back to the thread :[ (Don't tell me about CTRL + F ) but I will try your solution James; will it effect the current modification I've done prior to the thread instructions on here?
Re: Opening Signature Links in new Window
It shouldnt do AFAIK
Re: Opening Signature Links in new Window

Re: Opening Signature Links in new Window
