I get "Forbidden" when installling mods.

Wondering why that MOD you have won't install correctly? Let's take a look

DO NOT give out any FTP passwords to anyone! There is no reason to do so! If you need help badly enough, create a temporary FTP account that is restricted to only the files that you need help with and give the information for that. Giving out FTP information can be very dangerous!

I am getting this error too when I try to install the Approval Mod and the Advanced Vote Manager. I know that neither of these are techincally EMC, but I have installed them several times before with EM, without this problem.

It's only happened since I moved the mods onto a new platform - Ipower instead of Betainternet. The FTP settings are (obviously) different, but some mods are installing okay. :?

I'm running version 2.0.23, in case it makes a difference.

I have found a .htaccess file, but it' s in the admin/mods folder, not the admin folder itself.
