I'm sure somebody somewhere has posted this question, but I can find nothing that gives the steps to take to do so.
I have found a topic giving the MCP as the location from which to rename the topic, but I cannot find anything, anywhere in the MCP to accomplish that name change.
Could some please direct me to the location of that procedure, give me the steps or advise me that there is no ability to accomplish that in phpbb3?

Click on the edit button in the starting post, and edit the topic title there. Why cross the river for water?

Those are the directions for how to change the "subject" - not the Topic.
