No Confirm Button in Step 4 of 5
I've installed EM 3.0 on another forum of mine and it is a remarkable piece of software,... I went to install it on another, followed the exact same steps, and when I go to url/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php it gives me a 404 error page cannot be displayed. Ive checked,... and it's there,... I am completely stumped! I am getting killed by spammers and need to install the antispam mod before i lose all my subscribers. Please help someone,... I'm dyin here!

Re: EM install file not working
I checked based on other posts reporting similar issues and extension.inc is in the root directory, all EM files uploaded properly,... Any help would really be appreciated.

Re: EM install file not working
Poomie offered the following advice in response to another post that seems similar, however I don't even begin to have a clue what modification he is recommending, or how to go about making them... Anyone???
CHMOD all the EM directories to:
Code: Select all
755
CHMOD all the EM files to:
Code: Select all
644
Then try again.

Then it's not where you think it is.rjackgarrett wrote:when I go to url/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php it gives me a 404 error page cannot be displayed.

1. Try checking the name of the files and folders are correct
2. The permissions wouldn't be playing a part in this; it just can't find the file.

Re: EM install file not working
Thanks to Mike for his help, got it installed,... or almost. It stopped at step 4 of 5 said
::done
::no errors
but there is no confirm button to click as it says.
when I log into admin and go to the EM heading I get this error:
Template->make_filename(): Error - file admin/mod_header.tpl does not exist
So close and yet so far...

Try up/reuploading the file that was missing.
