Suspecting GOLD Very Soon...

I've already got some very small sites running with phpbb3 as my "playground" but my mainsite has to wait until I can convert from phpbb2 + CH to phpbb3 so I have to wait for gold.

I reckon that's a bit early. We've already been told by Acyd Burn in a thread on the main site that there will be an RC3 next.

Every release candidate is a package which could become gold. If for RC3 all bugs are fixed and nothing serious happens then RC3 could become gold of course. This doesn't mean I encourage people to use RCs in a live environment .

The way I read those posts is that RC3 follows - but it may well turn out to be the gold version - dependant on how many bugs are found after it is issued.

Thats not exactly what he said. RC's can turn into gold if we dont find many bugs in it
