It's been a little intermittent this afternoon (afternoon my time). It's been mentioned in at least one other thread. It's possible that there are CVS updates being applied to the site, or that there are other technical issues.

We may never know.
You can never go home again... but I guess you can shop there.

I don't think this is related to updates. The main website has been having issues for weeks now.
