For example if you attempt to delete a topic it says "Are you sure you want to delete this topic?" with a Yes or No option. What if you made a mistake and thought you were deleting one topic but were in another? There is no way to be sure unless you go back to the topic and do it again.
This is a common theme throughout the forum. From deleting a report to deleting a username. Shouldn't the confirmation pages be a bit more descriptive in what is going to happen if you press Yes?
Is there a reason why no description on confirmation actions

Re: Is there a reason why no description on confirmation actions
What’s going to happen?
... "are you sure you want to delete this topic" yes, or no...
Yes, will... delete the topic.
No will... not delete the topic.
But I take it you want it to say something like... "Are you sure you want to delete the "Is there a reason why no description on confirmation actions" topic?"
I never had any problems with it... if I forgot what topic I was moving/merging, deleting, whatever... I would just hit the back button.
That’s why the confirmation is there.

Yes, will... delete the topic.
No will... not delete the topic.

No what I am thinking of it would say "Are you sure you want to delete this topic?" and below it lists the title of the topic. On the delete username page it says the username. That way you can be sure when pressing the Yes button that you are about to perform the action you expect instead of generic "Are you sure" pages everywhere.

Oh... okay...
Well, I don’t see it as a big enough issue that they would consider implementing something like that for phpBB3 gold.
