The support questions are not without value.
They show the areas where support and documentation will be needed and sometimes lead to the discovery of bugs.

I'm not talking support as in the helpful kind. I'm talking as in the people who come in and post "z0mgz olympuz iznt workingz nd my sitez d0wn help mez" -- the kind of people who basically disregard what's been said all along.

Re: Suspecting RC1 very soon!
iWisdom,
Not to be rude, but that's also not very interesting. Just ignore those posts and let moderator and support team handle them.
The interesting part is the "grey area". Ie I really had problems to find out, if I as a translator was allowed to ask questions about translation issues in the Beta support forum. Well, I took the plunge at a stage (basicly because I was desperate
), and it seemed that this line of questioning was not only allowed, but also welcomed, and I got the help I needed.
Now back to topic again : I really hope that SHS`has spanked Bertie well and ordered Bertie to clean up the server for honey with the message : You will not get out of the server room untill done!

Iwisdom : Ever thought that maybe these people aren't typing in their natural language? How would manage if you had to type a question in a language you don't speak well? or at all even. I know I couldn't type a message in any language other than my own. I admire those who can, maybe you should instead of ridiculing them.
Anyway, I'm sure this thread wasn't intended to be one full of bickering! So why not move on

I'm not bickering, I was clarifying what I said.

Often those people are american. But you know, the MTV generation...
Basically not everyone understand what can be asked and how to ask it. They don't even think about it. And they're not all techie(?).
BUT rules are rules. They must be made easy to find, but once they're there, they're for everybody; I will forgive everyone too in a hurry to read them, but won't bother answering him. And, as a mod, I find the "delete" button pretty handy.
