Hopefully Bertie will not glue the new server together using the very same honey...

Re: Suspecting RC1 very soon!
anyway, i don't think, that servers generally want to have some honey...
but I think that Bertie learned his lesson so we don't have to be afraid for the new server
(better keep an eye on him, if he again vitits the server room)
@DoubleJ:
very small font within you sig...

I guess when Bertie was chasing us,, we didn't pray hard enough to be spared, as he took his wrath out on the poor servers as well, lets try not to make him angry next time, ok?

Which means stop asking when phpBB3 will be released, or asking for help when running it live.
Also, you should remember, every time you do one of the above, an innocent forum member is brutally mauled, and every tenth time, is fed to bertiezilla.
I'm not really sure why, since, it seems counter productive. They should take the guy asking, not some random forum user. They even got Graham. He was on the dev team, now he's mysteriously disappeared, no one seems to know what happened to him/ Suspicious, isn't it.

Lastof,
I don't think you have read matthewf's post as it was meant. Calme down a bit.

Sorry, maybe I should have put [badhumour][/badhumour] tags around my posts.
I thought the feeding people to bertiezilla bit made it clear, but, I guess not.

Lastof,
OK - personally I think the horse called "running phpBB 3.0 live" now is beat to death.

Re: Suspecting RC1 very soon!
Not necessarily. There are people with some experience levels that could probably do it with little or no trouble. But for general consumption, it is not a good idea.John Hjorth wrote: OK - personally I think the horse called "running phpBB 3.0 live" now is beat to death.

iWisdom,
What I mean was : Further posting about it in discussion topics makes for me no sense. It's a policy right now - period. Just let the support and moderator team handle it, when relevant. As a discussion subject I consider it not very interesting. At the same level as discussing avatar sizes in here.

Agreed. As a discussion topic it's basically... dead?John Hjorth wrote: iWisdom,

Anyway, I'm tired of people getting into a unstable version of software than asking for support. If you want to run it, support it yourself until an official release...
