Users at the forum I run are always requesting MODs that are available by default in Olympus, so I always say, "we'll upgrade to phpBB3 and then you'll be happy."
I'd say a lot of them are excited about it...the moderators there also got a sneak peek at management side, and coming from 2.0 to 3.0, the control is amazing!

Most of mine don't seem to mind.
They have a forum that's working and does what they want it to do.
I've done the odd update post of beta testing and some news on how we might implement the new features of phpBB3 but they don't seem to mind too much.
When it arrives and we switch I think they'll be happy to see the new things we can do but until then they're happy with what they have.

I have set up a demo of phpBB3 as a preview for my users. Only some of the senior members have taken a look at it and their feedback was really positive. But since we are a gamming community (a small one) no one have mady any requests for an upgrade. (The subforum feature have been requested though). So, they don't care really that much.

Our members don't care one bit about 3.0 and 99% of them probably aren't even aware of it. They use the forum to communicate with each other and 2.0 has always done exactly what we need.

My users don't know about phpbb3. I opened a test forum for me and my moderators only. They should learn all moderation possibilities in advance. They are very excited by the Olympus and can't wait it will be released.
