The support team has been offering limited support, and the styles and MOD teams have yet to be significantly involved when it comes to support for phpBB 3.
I'm not saying they're not ready for RC1 (I would have no way of knowing either way). I'm just noting that releasing RC1 is not just about the readiness state of the phpBB 3.0 codebase and documentation.

yeah my "My SQL has gone away error message" is going to hopefully be dealt with when RC1 comes out.
I got "SET NAMES 'binary'" problems but in the bug tracker it counts as a "support request"!

Naturally that was not a bug! The only things of that character that goes for beeing bugs is having "bla-bla-bla ...." in the language files at his stage!
