DO NOT give out any FTP passwords to anyone! There is no reason to do so! If you need help badly enough, create a temporary FTP account that is restricted to only the files that you need help with and give the information for that. Giving out FTP information can be very dangerous!

I am new to owning my own board.
Extremely new to coding and such like and not that young either.
I, of course, ran into difficulties and Nightrider came to my rescue and walked me through the process and steps.


I had said in my first post that I needed instruction in the "Dummies guide to..." varity of he made sure I knew each step of the way.

Hes really been a big help to me lately :) I'm such a n00b when it comes to editing a install file for a mod etc. but with his help I can :) Thanks for helping us all a lot man :D And BTW, I need more help :lol:

hmmmm...i was so dumb enough that i gave him my ftp details... what happened???
my board was totally ruined.i dont know if he still hacking my ftp account...but thank god my forum forum is not that old yet... and its free hosting...

Digilevi, I did nothing to harm your board and it isn't fair for you to make that false accusation here. It's too bad there are people like you who feel a need to trash those who try to help you. Now after this knife int he back for no good reason, I'm sorry that I wasted my time and effort tryig to figure out your strange problem. I won't make that mistake again if you come back for help...

At least most people appreciate the assistance...

Like me. i was new to my forum and i had a lot of problems with EM and then getting mods to install etc, nightrider has had my FTP details and admin on my forum so when he needs to he can login, for a long time now, since i made the board, just yesterday he spent 2-3 hours on ONE mod for me, so that just shows how kind and trustworthy he is, he spent about 5 hours yesterdsay in total about, and he has spent so many hours in the past, and i am learning from him aswell, i have not payed him anything he has done this all for free, although i am going to pay him some money as a sign of aprechiation. i think it is VERY wrong that you accused him of that, because i KNOW he didn't and never would do that for someone! he is also currently helping me now VIA yahoo messenger, and i just think you should apologise to him, because that is NOT fair on him, i am sure though if you said nightrider, my whole forum has gone to post, could you help me sort it out please, then he would, just like the has done for me on numerous occasions!

Nightrider would never do something like that. I don't know WTF is wrong with your site, but I can tell you now Nightrider had nothing to do with it. All he wants to do is help us all out here, no need to pin your misfortunes on him. I truely am sorry that such a thing happened to you, but I think you need to take a step back, examine all evidence and come to a conclusion that can be proven before you go off accusing people.
