skind date formatting
i don't know if this is already a feature hidden somewhere in the admin cp or not, but it would be nice to be able to control the formatting of the dates in the skins. because sometimes knowing the exact time just is too much information (eg, the join date in the postbit information; why do i need to know that july 23, 2003 was a monday or that he joined at 1:32:23 pm sharp?)

Re: skind date formatting
Everything is stored as a timestamp, which is exact to the second.
The actual date formatting is located in the ACP for the board wide default, and the UCP for individual users.

The problem with putting date formatting in the templates is that you'd be deciding for your users what dateformat to use. An alternative could be to offer a short and a long date format in the UCP and your template controls where to use which.
