I don't have a Beta copy installed, this is something I've noticed on Area51, so should I report it as a bug? Can someone confirm it with a Beta Board?
On this board if you click to go to the oldest unread post in a thread, if the post is the top of a new page then the link takes you to a previous page.
Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to report it if it's only the CVS and not the Beta
Thanks.
Andrew.
Should I report this as a bug?

Re: Should I report this as a bug?
Hmm.. is this from the index or viewforum page, I just tested it..
Created a topic with 1 user, posted 11 times (thus there is 1 topic on the second page), then logged in as another user, navigated to the viewforum page and then hit the button and it is fine..
However I do not see the button, which is strange..

Re: Should I report this as a bug?
is this anything to do with something I noticed.
I posted a reply that started a new topic page, but the posting confirmation page took me to the last post on the previous page. I have asked on phpbb beta support but no one has replied.

CVS is updated every day; BETA isn't. So this is a CVS issue, and since it's a CVS issue and BETA is one snapshot of CVS, then it's probably a BETA issue too. So I suggest you do report it in BETA Support on the main phpBB board!

Turns out I'm crap at explaining things. I've posted the bug to the tracker. If you feel you can clarify it then please do.
Re: Should I report this as a bug?
is used when theirs a new post. In a topic they should both goto the same place but the orange one just takes you to the very last post [newest] but if you've read it it'll be white and it will still take you to the [last] post.

Yeah, I know what it does. The thing is though if the post it should be taking you to is at the top of a new page the it takes you to the proceeding page instead.

It should take you to the newest post that you have NOT read.
So if the newest post that you have yet to read is on the previous page, then it will/should take you there.
If the little orange button does not appear for you, then you have already read everything in that topic.
It works fine on my board.

But if the newest post that you haven't read is at the top of a new page then it takes you to the previous page.
It happens on this board. I don't have my own local board as I said.
