Trying to install Zarath's Shop Mod 2.6.0...

I don't know anything about how the Shop MOD works. Isn't there a topic somewhere out there where others who have installed it would know what might be wrong and how to get it working correctly???

Hi, i have everything installed and working properly, but there are two things i'm looking to do, either by modding the mod(that sounds wierd, i know), or finding an option I'm missing somewhere. I've seen this on other boards, so I know it is possible.

1. On the view user profile page, there is a link to the items a user has. I want to make this so that only admins/moderators are able to see this link. The past couple rpg forums i have been on, they did this to curb metagaming quite a bit.

2. I want to be able to privatize some of the shops. I want to do this to keep the unkown aspect of the world in the game intact. So some people would have items in their inventory that others could not see in the shops unless of admin/moderator status.

I know these two things are possibly quite complicated, but if anyone can tell me how to do it, or at least point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

mine still doesnt work, when u buy the glow, your name wont glow and etc,.

Senormegatron, have you tried asking the MOD author for advice on this? They should be intimately knowledgable on the code and the best way to accomplish what you want to do. Some MOD authors are more helpful than others, so perhaps you will get lucky...

I'm having a really hard time finding a working email of his, or even a forum that he is still on. I haven't given up on this method, but I have expanded it to asking anyone or any forum that might have a clue as to where he is or what i can do.

It's a shame. I think for a while, the MOD author abandoned the Zarath's Shop Mod and someone else started working on it. Then the original MOD author resumed work on it...

This really isn't a problem that I'm qualified to fix. Maybe there are others who are using the MOD who would be willing to help. Is there a MOD topic for the Zarath's Shop Mod???
