I would expect it to be yelled from the roof tops in every manor they can possibly manage. I'm hoping they may even make a special commit to the cvs, removing the die() that gives users the message about no support that so many seem to misunderstand, with a witty comment heralding the arrival of beta.

Oh, and rivaldo, you do realise that is havocovah is right about them not releasing beta for several years, Olympus won't manage to be released on November 30, 2007. Making you wrong.

Oh, yes, I'll probably be wrong, all right, but either way, I won't be as far off on the date of release as psoTFX was when he said that phpBB3.0 would probably be ready around February of 2005!
