Can I Upgrade a Board which uses phpBB2 to phpBB3 CVS Now?
I Was Just "Experimenting" Actually.. :mrgreen:

Is It Possible?

Certainly possible, but you'd need to create your own conversion scripts and such, and phpbb3 is currently unsupported, and it's highly recommended to not use Olympus in a production environment until it hits release.

CVS code is unsupported, and also there are no scripts publicly available to do this upgrade.

If you are competent enough with PHP & *SQL, then it's be trivial to do the required changes yourself.

Also, no animated avatars please... they are rather large annoyance.

i also want to update my phpBB2 to phpBB3 CVS. as i love all the new features.. but my current database size for my phpBB2 is a little over 100MB, with 150K+ post. so i would suspect it will take a very very long time to covert the database? is it even possible?
