Re: Visual Confirmation
I had an early version (0.9-1.0) install perfectly on an old 98 machine. (A year ago when those versions were actually new) Did the Moz ditch '98 since then?Cap'n Refsmmat wrote:No, FF isn't supported for anything earlier than ME.Cheater512 wrote:Well they'll just have to bite the bullet and download Firefox then.SamG wrote: People running Windows 95.

Re: Visual Confirmation
I have FF 1.5 working nicely in a Windows 98 Virtual Machine.
Re: Visual Confirmation
Well, as we explained earlier to someone reporting that Olympus ran fine on an older PHP version, not supported does not mean it won't run. As Windows 98 (I think) is pretty close to ME, maybe there are only small problems, if any. Windows 95 is a big step backwards from there, so that might give more trouble.

Support was dropped just recently... it may be just for FF 2.0, I don't really know.Cheater512 wrote: I have FF 1.5 working nicely in a Windows 98 Virtual Machine.

Found a nice tutorial for those people stuck on 95.
Support has been dropped as in if you find a bug it will be ignored.
It will still run on Windows 95 (perfectly?).

Re: Visual Confirmation
That does not mean it will work on 95.

Re: Visual Confirmation
As of one of the nightly builds about a month ago (not a stable release, a nightly), Win98 is not supported at all.
