I think as we keep track of this we should keep in mind that some new reports are going to be false and/or repeat reports.

no we shouldn't because the dev team still has to deal with checking that and then closing them.Spectral Dragon wrote: 52 with 8 new reports.

But a lot of "Review later" and "Awaiting Information" bugs aren't bugs now.

I believe they intend to make Beta as stable as possible. The more stable Beta is, the sooner the final version come out.

An ideal situation for any software development team is to release a BETA and recieve no bug reports. I *think* that this is what the phpBB Team are trying to do, otherwise the BETA would have been out for a while...Truestar wrote: I believe they intend to make Beta as stable as possible. A truly bug-less piece of software contains 0 lines of code. If developers of a piece of software never got any bug reports for a beta release, then the actual truth is the no-one bothered to download it and test it.Mark The Daemon wrote: An ideal situation for any software development team is to release a BETA and recieve no bug reports. There will always be bugs for any piece of software regardless of complexity... it's just a matter of those bugs being show-stoppers, minor annoyances or something in-between...

LOL just look at the new submissions of derDiesel.
I don't understand how some people can post such stupid things to the bugtracker thinking they are bugs.

So the potential of phpBB 3.0 shipping out before May 15 is correct. AWESOME!SHS` wrote:A truly bug-less piece of software contains 0 lines of code.
