What about phpBB1?
I am a bit bored today...and I was wondering...where could I get a copy of the first phpBB(well, the final release of it)? I never tried it before, and I want to see what it was like.
Re: What about phpBB1?

Ya, its not installing for me either...it gets stuck on the first install page...I hit next with the right info, and it just clears the stuff I added in.
Re: What about phpBB1?
You can probably fix with with some php.ini juggling.
Try 1.4 first though: Same codebase with a few more features iirc.

It also doesn't work well on php4, if at all.
phpBB, its open source, become involved, write a modification!

Heh, ya, I guess it doesn't like php4 either...I just installed it on 4.3.11 and it seemed to work...but i keep getting stupid 404 errors saying that a page isn't found. 8O
Anyone know where a there is a free host that would support phpBB1? Just so I could test it out...
