I remember a whiles back a new phpBB called "Olympus" was supposed to be released. What happened?

phpbb???, please come by in another six months to check up on phpBB's development. If things go right, the project may be substantially closer to completion at that point. Until that time, there is no point in trying to keep tabs on things here on this board.

I do so hope you're wrong. I personally hope the project will be several months past completion, 6 months from now, not only just 'getting close' to it...

Your thinking is wrong, you can't look at the speed of development in a linear, consistent fashion that can be marked by how long its been in development.
