Must be a G3 ibook/powerbook?
Why would you run 8 when you can run 9?
Just curious for two reasons... I have very seldom need for OS 9, but have never needed 8 since switching to OS X.
I'm about to upgrade my Powerbook from a Tibook DVI to a Alum!!! Woohoo!! and Tiger will follow shortly thereafter, then I can get all the high-res Tiger icons for my new phpBB3 OS X style.

Desktop: iMac G3, 600mhz PowerPC 750CXe G3, 320mb RAM, 40gb HD, 16mb Graphics and Mac OS X 10.3.9
Notebook: PowerBook 1400cs, 133mhz PowerPC 603e, 40mb RAM, 1.3gb HD, No Megabit Graphics, Mac OS 8.1
As you can see, my lineup is somewhat underpowered, but it will do until I upgrade to a
Core Duo which hopefully wont be too long from now.

well i have a lot of pcs so i will number them
1) windows xp home
2) windows xp pro
3) windows 98 - i have 2 of them
4) linux redhat
5) windows 95
6) windows 2000
and yes they do get used a lot and they are on most of the day all of them.

I am using the Vista Post RC1 right now...
I do have to use XP on my other partion once in a while to use Nero though, since Nero isn't compatible with Vista.

well i did have Vista on one of my pcs but i had to tack it off it was kiiling my pc it need a lot of power to run the thing i was using the beta of it .
