this may have been posted elsewhere, and if so I apologize but I am too lazy to look manually through the 75 pages in here as well as those elsewhere.
I have heard the next version referred to as 2.2 and 3.0 (not to mention olympus, but that's just a codename for the developement stages)...can you please let me know what it will actually be? Once again, sorry if this is a repeat topic, and thanks for any info you can give me.

It will be 3.0 "Olympus". It was going to be 2.2, but the changes warrented the incrementation of the major version number.

ok, thanks a lot for the help...actually, i have one other question...i've been browsing the forums and saw something about a beta...my question is, if it is currently known, will this be an open or closed beta, and if closed, what will it take to get in?
