*beep* hell. I thought phpBB 2.2 was going to be a masterpiece from the *beep* that phpBB 2.0 already is. All I can see is a *beep* new layout.
Look at Invision Power Board. Their 2.0 is good, but I prefer their 1.3, which is even better than phpBB 1.0. Isn't that something to be ashamed about? Then theres OpenBB. Even that is better than your piece of *beep*. Get to work on making something *beep* decent.

If you like another bord better, then just use (and pay for) it.
phpBB is absolutely free and in my opinion at least as good as other boards.

You might want to get your eyes checked if all you see is a new layout. Obviously, you haven't even looked around. Plus, your poll features new options (checkboxes). Hmm...
