Re: Try to ensure people using snapshots know it's unsupport
I use TortoiseCVS all the time since I muck around with Unsupported stuff. Messing with phpBB2 CVS is no different to me. Some opensource teams offer CVS pulling and Snapshots so I see no reason to limit the use in either way. I do approve of the minor pre-beta blocker that was introuduced very recently. Will it deter anybody? Hah, but at least it's a little bit more insistant to those who don't understand how to use Notepad or something.

** cyberCrank is waiting for the first one to make a thread/post on here asking for help and support in how to remove the new beta blocker in common.php
; I can almost sense that it will surely happen or someone will post it as a new "bug" (I started to do it as a joke or prank, but opted not to to avoid future posting "complications" on here). just remember that cyberCrank noted it here first, it will happen

OMG, i was reading the first couple of posts, and thought:
Well, if the dumb people that ask for support don't read anything, bury the link to the latest snapshot in a huge paragraph of crap letting the reader know about when to ask for support and when not to. Just make sure it's not searchable.
Therefore, people that do notice and adhere to the "No support" message would find the link and able to download, no fuss - no pus!
.
BTW, i love the "save" option, fantastic for large messages - i can remember a few times when i needed that!
P.S: Not bad for post #1, ay?

If I seem rude to you, you most likely deserved it, for I have no patience for dumb people and their pointless, stupid questions.

Just change the style of the download link to display: none;
