I know this has been asked before and so on...but anyone estimate a month/year that 2.1 will be ready ?

There will be no release of 2.1, it is only a development platform for the next version, 2.2. If you did a search of the forums, then you would know that the only thing that we have been given is that phpBB 2.2 will be released sometime this year--though I've always doubted that they will actually make that broad "release date."

If I had to guess, my best guess would be at least two days after yesterday, but no earlier than tomorrow.
If it comes out this year, as we hope, then as of this post there are 101 days, 4 hours, 57 minute, and 16 seconds left for it to come out this year, or a total of 8744236 seconds left for this year.

I want to answer this one. The time frame is from now to eternity. But seriously, I know there is tons of exciting stuff in the upcoming release that makes the wait more then worth it. But everyone that wants it now, just has to get over it.Cybermar!ne wrote:Hey guys,

Aren't they sick of calling this 2.1(only) ??? Hope they can jump to beta, rc alpha or even 2.2???

Well, generally you don't change a version number just because you're sick of it. You change it when the code has reached that stage.
