How many programmers ?

Just wanted to know ...how many programmers are there in phpbb group who actually code the whole phpbb software.

Here is a breakdown by version:
1.0: theFinn
1.2/1.4: theFinn, nathan (codding, if you must ask), psoTFX, BartVB (I probably missed someone, oh well)

2.0: psoTFX, nathan, theFinn, dougk_ff7, and about 3 other people whose names I cannot remember currently. One of them wrote the installer and the database backup script, but I can't remember what the rest of them were credited with...

Becasue they want people who's coding skills are up to scratch.
Adding more developers who were not up to as high standard as the rest of the developers would likely cause more problems than it would fix.

And, of course: 'Too many cooks spoil the broth'.

Yes you are right the developers should be masters. But to speed up things the current developers can organize a test or something ...in which php programmers can take part...if they do upto the mark then they're in else out. Simple!
