Warning System???

Post by Woodley »

This is not a feature request, it is a question. Is there going to be a Warning System (kind of like the Yellow Card MOD) for 2.2.0??

Yup, you can expect a warning system.

The exclamation point at the bottom-right corner of the post is part of it.

Can you back that up with anything?
That little ! button is to report a post to the moderators.

It may not actually link to a warning system, it may just be to let moderators know that they need to edit/ban/delete something.

There may or may not be a warning system in the manner of that, I don't know as yet.

The current CVS build does have the "Report post" feature, and a field in the user profile which tracks the number of warnings (although this is something that anyone with user admin permissions can edit at the minute)

Ok, that sounds like a good idea for phpBB.
