I miss 1600x1200
I had to drop down to 1280x1024 when my old monitor gave out and my current one has a horrible refresh rate at any higher resolution.

Re: What Screen Resolution do you Run?
Mine runs at 800x600 at 85 hertz, and supports upto 1600x1200.
And I just had to find out now that you need to scroll to see the extra stuff over 1024x768.

Re: What Screen Resolution do you Run?
mine is a 15" TFT and runs at a maximum of 1024x768, wish it would run higher but being able to fill my desk with more crap because of the smaller footprint is important to me
Re: What Screen Resolution do you Run?
my notebook only supports 800x600 and 1024x768 and i'm running 1024x768.
my monitor at my pc supports more (up to 1280x1024) but i'm also running 1024x768 there, cause i think, thats the perfect resolution ^^
not for surfing the net or playing pc but for browsing pc. ^^

Re: What Screen Resolution do you Run?
I guess I really should have posted my settings....
1280 x 1024 x 32bit @ 75Hz on a 19" Monitor
SHS` Whats the reason for your resolution? It's not a standard resolution and doesn't quite seem right for a wide screen LCD or similar.

nVidia drivers rock my world in being able to create custom resolutions.Archer wrote: SHS` Whats the reason for your resolution? It's not a standard resolution and doesn't quite seem right for a wide screen LCD or similar.
1600 × 1200 was too flickery for anything more than 2 seconds as it refreshed only at 75Hz (I need at least 85Hz before I stop seeing flicker... 100Hz is rock steady) an the normal mode below is too small having only 1280 × 960.
In Linux however, I could use 1400 × 1050 at 85Hz with my 19" CRT... the lastest nVidia drivers now allow me to do the same in Windows.
