Creating a New Theme (how?)

hello. im trying to create a theme for our forum http://www.jx3.net/tdg/forum. is there some type of template i need to follow? what i was thinking was downloading on of the themes and change the image files to what i would make and re-adress the code files. would that work? or is there some easier way a novice can do? any help will be appreciated thanks.

SubSilver is the only theme you will find for download right now. It is easy to modity with your own pictures.

could somebody tell me whats the "traditional" (also easy) way of creating a custom theme?

I'd not create a theme for phpBB 2.2 until it's actually released.

You want to know how to create a custom theme, possibly based off of subSilver? Please check the phpBB Knowledge Base. CyberAlien wrote an article about how to fare, and the process of doing it. Please, search. kthxbye

I never played with the old subSilver much but with the phpBB 2.2 subSilver, it's very easy to make major changes via the CSS file. Might be something to consider.

No. 2.2 has not been released - they are experimenting with 2.1.x CVS snapshots
