l*nk request ; or stupid question ?

Post by mansuetus »

well, It is not about 2.2, nor about 2.0, it is about both, so I post it here. I hope I will not be banned ;-)

Well, I saw 2 mailing lists : 1 announce ; not used since four years...
and 1 commit, that, as its name says, just posts about commits (on dev board, as far I can understand it :-) )

so the question is : is there a mailing list that is used to post about security fixes, releases about phpbb 2.* ?

and, as I think the answer is "no", why not ?

This has got to be the 1000th post I have seen about this ... Both here and at phpbb.com. No, there is no security mailing list. However, when a commit is made for security purposes, it says so in the log message. Then if you want, you can go through the code in the commit.

Or the other answer which gets repeated as well ;) Monitor the phpBB2 package on SF.net

Whenever there is an updated package made available an email is sent to everyone who is monitoring it as well.
