Post by Roberdin »

Is that really a good way to do it? The W3C itself recommends againsts it. Obviously I understand that it can be changed, but if phpBB wants to maintain its reputation as a professionally looking forum, shouldn't these "click here"s be removed?

Could this be the people with low karma settings... "This post is encoded differently to yours... Click Here to view it" - something like that???

Also... this is more... english than coding... and is rather silly to be in a funny over!

Isnt this also just easily resolved with an update of the language files?

Think about it.. you can load those "Click Here to ..." pages with advertising, like most other websites do anymore, such as Yahoo

W3C suggests against it in favor of a more information anchor body, but in this case, it is an acceptable use of "click here."
