CVS Problems.. "Authorization Failed"

Post by Smirnov »

[admin@plesk6 admin]$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/home/admin/phpBB2 co phpBB2
cvs checkout: authorization failed: server cvs.phpbb.sourceforge.net rejected access to /home/admin/phpBB2 for user anonymous
cvs checkout: used empty password; try "cvs login" with a real password
[admin@plesk6 admin]$

I can't download it from the CVS page either, there's only 0.04 KB downloads. I tried browsing the CVS repository on SourceForge but all the files there are ancient. Any ideas?

This is what I use. I use TortoiseCVS (WinXP) and works most of the time.

Code: Select all

:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/phpbb co phpBB2
But try this:
The Sourceforge CVS page wrote:cvs -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/phpbb login

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/phpbb co phpBB2
Sourceforge has been having problems with it's CVS servers. Not much the phpBB group can do about it.

You need to go into your UCP and set the option to see people with negative karma

Also, you just have to click on teh "show post" button if it is not set to -1 karma in the UCP. I have mine set to -5 so i can see all posts :D Or we could all rate rob's posts good and give him better karma.
