would there be a way I could get a version of 2.1 just to play around with or do I have to wait till 2.2 comes out?

Thanks

ok I actually had sevral questions. But first, why cant I edit my post?

Anyways,

1.) Will 2.2 have something where you can have color groups. So if I wanted all admins to be red, then under the key at the bottom admin's would be red and they show up in the who's online as red, in the member list, and their names in posts? And then have that for every usergroup I make?

2.)What about something simmilar to a hack for 2.0.6, where adminisitrators and moderators can add comments on a user in their profile? I will go and see if I can track down that hack and link to it.

3.)Is there going to be something where you can have multi select for the polls, so a person can select multiple poll options and also a way for moderators to change the amount of votes in the poll? Kinda like what VBulletin has where you click edit poll moderators only. You can check that out by going to http://www.jelsoft.com" target="_blank and going to the admin demo.

EDIT: ok nevermind I just tested a poll. I like that multi option system. But the moderator edit votes thing would be kinda cool. BTW, what are the X's by the percent thing mean?
4.)How does this karma thing work? Is that what the rate high or low for each user is in their posts?

5.)report post to mod things: Do those go to the moderators and admin's email, or is it an in forum thingy? I think that would be neat if it were an in forum thingy that went to the person kinda as a seperate PM system.

Well, that's it for now. Sorry for my long list of questions.

EDIT: ok, I can edit this one but not my first post. hmmmm. oh well, anyways, one more thing,

6.) global announcements. will 2.2 have that?

You might want to do a little search before asking as most of your questions have been previously answered.
Need good web hosting? I recommend Hostrocket.

Oh btw, no support is given for snapshots. They ARE broken, it's essentially your problem. ;)

Yes, post editing is timed.
If your snapshot doesn't work, try grabbing another in a hour or three.
If you can't get it working, it may be best to wait for a beta/RC/final release. (I keep meaning to update my snapshot, but don't want to in case I break my 'working' snapshot :D)

I would too... but i've made some modifications (um... maybe some news and links scripts...) so i dont want to break it all setting a new one up ever so often.

I'll be updating my snap shot when M3 and M4 are complete... etc etc

hehe, yeah when M3 is done I'll prolly try a new snapshot installed to a diff place :)
And same for M4, then wipe all but M4 before the RCs come out :)
