We will reach Milestone 2 any day now, then there will be at least two more Milestone (3 and 4), betas and release candidates. So it will still take some time. There is no release date set, so don't even dare to ask, we wouldn't be able to say if it will take 1, 3 or 6 months. 8)
I suggest you upgrade you 2.0.x board to 2.0.6 first anyway.

The upgrade from 2.0.5 -> 2.0.6 is very easy. Even if you have a heavily modded board, using Acyd's easymod compatible code changes, it really is painless..
