*likes Karma feature*
That would be agains the spirit of a karma system. If an admin could just change the values however he likes, it just loses all its sense as a community moderating system. One could give moderators or admins a higher karma amount they are allowed to give a user that the regular visitors (the site owner should have some control over the community he is running) but that should not go any further.

Manually changing the database would still do it.

I don't really like the idea of setting a Karma level, but instead if certain users/groups could be given min/max karma levels? For example moderators should never have their karma go low enough for users with the default preferences to be unable to see their posts. Or even if moderators were made exempt entirely?
Images in sigs! please.

Don't think that 'll do...
See if you get the numbers +3 = 3 green blocks or -1 (1red block)
Doesn't say mutsh does it
makes no difference to me

At first i thought it was a nice stuff... but since i've got rated -2, i've lost all interest in participating in conversation, as my posts are ignored and hidden

so I'm reading this...
A idea hit my head (and it hurt)

you can only vote good/bad if you participate in that conversation...

that way "only-read"-ers will can not change the karma-level of someone, only because he doesn't like the subject...

good idea no?

Might it be that people just don't like you whining. :) Just try to be a little more constructive. Add ideas to the topics, post suggestions.

That doesn't mean I want to see suggestions in this forum ;) Your points have however been noted ... but don't make any kind of habit of it ;)
