Collector goodys...

Post by Bertg »

To the programmers...

Will there be a collectors pack with the relase of this forum?

You could include:
"blooper screenshots"(when coding goes wrong),
"Waw screenshots" (the first glimps at incredible features),
"a evolution table" (aka the roadmap with comment and so),
"screenshots" al those u made public,
"Funny topics" (the best topics u have seen),
"diarys" (a day in the life of a phpBB coder),
and mutsh mutsh more

That would be cool (I'm wayting for the bloopers)

I think it would be enough to look at the CVS comments.

Examples:
psoTFX wrote:it's dhn's fault
The phpBB Information Minister wrote:This commit is in no way related to the UCP, anyone that says it are lying dogs, there are no changes here, none.
psoTFX wrote:Returned to instantiation of ucp object ... perhaps this approach is better? Altered basic info for ucp_modules, updated editor to allow alternative form and textarea names ... still lots of fudginess, hhhmmmm fudge, uuuuugggghhh

Yeah, I liked that one. Is he talking about the guy who called SHS` a Nazi, because SHS was, horribly, trying to enforce rules? That was pretty, uh, strange.

There's even more fun in the comments- look at line 123 in the file adm/admin_forums.php .

Code: Select all

// What are we going to do tonight Brain? The same thing we do everynight,
// try to take over the world ... or decide whether to continue update
// and if so, whether it's a new forum/cat/link or an existing one
fun, sigs work!!!

Maybe it can be a double DVD edition ;)

With a "making of" documentary where we just see the back of pso's head and clicking keys with the glow from the monitor.

Yeh.

Will the 2-DVD set be Free as in Freedom like phpBB itself, or will it have filthy evil CSS encryption? ;)

What kind of special features will it have? Interviews with the developers? (A special X-rated "phpBB Developers Gone Wild" section?! 8O) Special "ultimate smackdown!!!!" footage of phpBB 2.2 fighting UBBThreads, IkonBoard, YaBB, and Invision PowerBoard?!?! y3s!
fun, sigs work!!!
