Demo ACP

How long until there will be a "working" demo ACP for 2.2? Is this something that will have to wait for the final version?

Probably never, at least not a real one as people have a bit of a habit to "dick about" too much.

There may be an HTML mockup as per the one that exists for phpBB2.0, however, given the ease of a phpBB install... you may aswell just download it and install it. You can do whatever you please then.

Ya, you could mess up a forum pretty bad.. I was talking about the type of thing on that phpBB currently has though... I guess I will have to get one of the alpha builds to install (Not that I expected anything this soon anyways)...

There's something called CVS. But make note the licence and conditions for it.

Ya CVS... For whatever reason I could not think of the term at the time.

I'd imagine he's (at least partially) referring to the fact that you won't receive any official support and that if it causes your server to blow up, it's not their fault.

It can smoke the server, but it can't blow up... Cause then it will damage the other servers in the datacenter... and that's just bad
